The eyewear market has long suffered from a one-size-fits-all approach, leaving many users struggling with ill-fitting frames that slide down their noses, cause pinching behind the ears, or simply fail to deliver all-day comfort. My goal with The No. 2 Eyewear was to address these pain points directly by creating a truly customizable, user-centered solution.

Research
Performed a competitor audit to identify the positioning of current eyewear brands in the market.
The original concept featured adjustable components for the nose bridge, frame length, and temple arms, but testing revealed structural weaknesses, leading us to adopt a modular design for enhanced durability.
Rather than abandoning the initial concept of adjustable eyewear, we pivoted by developing a measurement kit to accurately capture face width, nose bridge width, and temple length, supporting the user research and testing process.
Prototyped multiple modular sizes and hinge designs to ensure both a comfortable fit across diverse facial features and enhanced structural durability.
Ultra-thin 0.5 mm Japanese stainless steel construction.
Zero-screw frame to reduce weight for all-day comfort.
